Scientists are considering it a miracle, because this creature had not been seen for three centuries. It was considered extinct.
According to the report published in the European Journal of Taxonomy, fishermen in Santiago, Chile had entered the river as usual. Were trying to catch fish. Then a shark got trapped in their net. When the fishermen saw, they could not understand. Because he had never seen such a fish. He immediately informed the concerned department about this. When the scientist investigated, it was found that it was a Chilean angel shark, which used to exist on Earth sometime in the 18th century. But later it disappeared.

The scientist took it to the National Museum. Research revealed that this fish, which had been missing for centuries, is quite unique. The length of the shark was only 3 feet. The body was completely flat, unlike other sharks. There were thorns on their backs. It was considered quite dangerous because of the small, sharp hook on the head. This shark is adept at hiding and attacks in ambush. Usually it remains hidden on the sea floor and fills its stomach by hunting small fish, crustaceans and mollusks. For this reason this mysterious creature is also called nocturnal. It spends its entire life buried under sand and mud.
Also called elusive shark
According to scientists, adult angel sharks are usually 5 feet long but some species, such as the Japanese angel shark, can grow up to 6.5 feet. An average angel shark weighs about 77 pounds. In the wild, angel sharks can live between 25 and 35 years. Angel sharks are sometimes called monkfish and ironically “sand devils.” Some people also know it by the name of elusive shark.
